The Federal Government of Nigeria has debunked news trending on social media that n-power recruitment for 2017 has commenced with an official disclaimer on it's official website.

It further states that the recruitment exercise update will be published on the official channels of communication.

The disclaimer reads:

Kwara State Orientation Camp facilities are below standard - NYSC DG

The NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Sulaiman Kazaure, has expressed disappointment over the state of facilities at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Kwara State.

He made his position known in an interview with newsmen shortly after addressing Corps members at the camp located at Yikpata in Edu Local Government Area.

Vanguard News reported that Kazaure, who inspected facilities at the camp, said its general condition fell below standard; and went on to appeal to the state government to rise to the occasion and upgrade the facilities.

Corps Members will be posted to farms - NYSC DG
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Director General, Suleiman Kazaure, has said that the scheme would soon be posting corps members to serve in farms.

Brig-Gen Kazaure who has embarked on his usual NYSC orientation camp tour to familiarize and interact with 2017 NYSC Batch 'A' (Stream One) Corps Members made the call in Lagos State NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp.

The NYSC Management has released a circular detailing the winding-up and passing-out program for 2016 Batch A Stream 2 NYSC Members. The circular details as follows:

Management of NYSC approved that the 2016 Batch 'A' Winding-up/Passing-Out should be low-key. Note that Corps Members of 2016 Batch 'A' Stream 2 will pass out on Friday 4th May, 2017.
