NYSC announces camp date for 2017 Batch A stream 2 PCMs
The NYSC management has announced the commencement of orientation camp course for 2017 Batch A stream 2 Prospective Corps Members from Wednesday, 26th July, 2017 to Tuesday, 15th August, 2017.
Printing of call-up letters for 2017 Batch A stream 2 PCMs commences on the evening of Friday, 21st July, 2017.

The NYSC Management today made a public statement as regard the 2017 BATCH A Stream 2 PCM orientation course.

The NYSC 2017 Batch A stream 1 Corps Members has completed their camp orientation course today and has been assigned their place of primary duty.
The orientation camp course which started on May 23rd, 2017 ends today June 12th. The highlights of the NYSC 2017 Batch A Stream 1 Orientation Course are:

NYSC DG advises Corps Members on self-employment
The Director-General of NYSC, Brigadier General Sulaiman Kazaure, has advised Corps members to embrace the option of establishing small or medium scale businesses after service instead of searching for white collar jobs.
He gave the advice while addressing the 2017 Batch 'A' (Stream One) Corps members at the Orientation camp at Eziama Obaire, Imo State during his orientation camp tour.
The DG informed them that white collar jobs were not easy to come by, adding that self-employment was the way to go.
NYSC Members enlisted as educators on Financial Inclusion Programme
The flag off of the pilot scheme of the National Peer Group Educator on Financial Inclusion Programme for Volunteer Corps Members was held following the successful training of the volunteer Corps members in twelve pilot states spread across the six geo-political zones for the programme.
The Programme is being anchored by the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports in collaboration with partners, including the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
NYSC DG rewards Corps Members for honesty
The Director-General, Brigadier General Sulaiman Kazaure, has given cash rewards to three Corps members for their honesty in returning money found at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Benue State to the management.
The corps members are Eno Sunday Jesam (BN/17A/1536), Ezenwa Chidera (BN/17A/1718), and Timothy Deborah Elewechi (BN/17A/2233).
NYSC warns corps members against cyber crimes and illicit drugs
The NYSC Management has warned Corps members against engagement in cyber crimes and dealings in illicit drugs.
Director-General of the NYSC, Brigadier General Sulaiman Kazaure, gave the warning while addressing the 2017 Batch 'A' (Stream One) Corps members at the Permanent Orientation Camp in Taraba State.
Kazaure told the Corps members to safeguard the image of their families and the NYSC by engaging in lawful ventures.
"You are our future leaders and we have hope in you. With you, I am sure we will have the Nigeria of our dream, "
Kwara State Orientation Camp facilities are below standard - NYSC DG
The NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Sulaiman Kazaure, has expressed disappointment over the state of facilities at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Kwara State.
He made his position known in an interview with newsmen shortly after addressing Corps members at the camp located at Yikpata in Edu Local Government Area.
Vanguard News reported that Kazaure, who inspected facilities at the camp, said its general condition fell below standard; and went on to appeal to the state government to rise to the occasion and upgrade the facilities.
