Nigeria's Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved the inclusion of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members into the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
With this development, the NYSC will collaborate with NHIS to provide improved healthcare services to Corps Members throughout their mandatory one-year service.
NYSC Members enlisted as educators on Financial Inclusion Programme
The flag off of the pilot scheme of the National Peer Group Educator on Financial Inclusion Programme for Volunteer Corps Members was held following the successful training of the volunteer Corps members in twelve pilot states spread across the six geo-political zones for the programme.
The Programme is being anchored by the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports in collaboration with partners, including the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
