The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Management assures Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre (CLTC) of its commitment to strengthened partnership for efficiency and productivity.

The Director-General of NYSC, Brigadier General Sulaiman Kazaure, gave the assurance while receiving the Acting Director-General of the CLTC, Mr. Jonah Bitrus Bawa, on a courtesy visit.

Kazaure lauds the role CLTC plays in NYSC especially during induction of Corps Members. He assures CLTC of strengthened partnership as one of the critical stakeholders in the NYSC.

He stressed the need for the two organizations to work closely to achieve common goals while assuring that observations and requests presented during the courtesy visit would be discussed by the Management with a view to taking appropriate decisions.

Bawa, who took over as CLTC’s Acting Director-General two months ago, had earlier expressed his determination to address some observed challenges in his agency’s working relationship with the NYSC Scheme.

The Acting DG of CLTC requested from the NYSC Management support to initiate CLTC trainings in Orientation Camps across the Country.

Mr. Bawa said there's need to upgrade Man O’ War gadgets in some NYSC camps and assures NYSC of his agency's preparedness to offer professional aid on the procurement of modern and standard equipment.
