Recession: NYSC asks for subsidized feeding

NYSC - National Youth Service Corps

The State Government has been requested by the Enugu State Command of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), to subsidize the feeding of the Corps members, due to the increase in their population. The Enugu State Coordinator, Mrs.Nwano Ukagha, made this plea on Monday at the State Orientation Camp in Awgu, during the swearing-in ceremony of the 2016 Batch B Corps members. She said that regardless of all the support given to them by the state, they are still forced to ask for more, especially in the provision of Camp facilities.

Some of the Corps members deployed to the state, said that they had facilities like hostel accommodation, electricity and social services in substantial supply except for inadequate water supply.
