Update on 2017 Batch A NYSC Registration and Mobilization
Updated 21st March 2017: NYSC releases timetable for 2017 Batch A mobilization, registration and call-up to service
The NYSC Management has today debunked the rumored registration date for 2017 BATCH 'A' Prospective Corps Members currently circulating on the media.
The publication reads:
The attention of the NYSC Management has been drawn to an online post stating, inter alia, that "the NYSC On-line registration portal will be opened from Monday 8th February to WEDNESDAY 15th February, 2017."
We wish to warn that the statement was not issued by the NYSC Scheme and should, therefore, be disregarded.
For the avoidance of doubt, no date has yet been set for the commencement of online registration by 2017 Batch 'A' Prospective Corps Members.
Management will unveil the 2017 Batch 'A' mobilization time-table at the appropriate time through our official communication channels listed below:

In other news, NYSC Management made a statement on the rainstorm at Iseyin alleging that no casualty was recorded in the NYSC Orientation Camp.
The statement reads:
RAINSTORM AT ISEYIN: NO CASUALTY IN NYSC CAMP
The NYSC Management wishes to clarify facts on the rainstorm which wrecked havoc yesterday in Iseyin town of Oyo State.
We wish to confirm that one of the structures at the NYSC Orientation camp was indeed affected with sixteen Corps members sustaining injuries.
Management, however, wishes to make it clear that rumour of death being peddled in the social media is untrue.
As a matter of fact, all the injured Corps members received the best of treatments and all of them have since been discharged from hospital.
Situation at the camp is calm now while normal activities are going on.
Management wishes to assure parents and other stakeholders that the safety and general welfare of all Corps members will continue receive priority attention.
