The NYSC DG, Brigadier General Sulaiman Kazaure while calling on Corps members to use the period of National Service to promote cultural integration has said that "Nigeria is one; we should always see ourselves as one family".

Brig-Gen Kazaure who has embarked on his usual NYSC orientation camp tour to familiarize and interact with 2017 NYSC Batch 'A' (Stream One) Corps Members made the call in Lagos State NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp.

NYSC 2017 Batch A Stream 1 Corps Members sworn-in today, DG calls for discipline

The 2017 Batch A Stream 1 Corps Members have been sworn-in today in all States of the Federation to commence their Mandatory Service Year as NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Sulaiman Kazaure calls on Corps Members to exhibit high sense of discipline in all their dealings.

I implore you to reflect these virtues in all the tasks that shall be assigned you during the Orientation course and the rest of the Service Year. As it were, the National Youth Service Corps has four cardinal programmes which every member must successfully pass through to qualify for demobilization at the end of twelve months.

The NYSC 2017 Batch A Stream 1 Prospective Corps Members are to note the following information as published by the NYSC Management

As scheduled in the official NYSC Batch A 2017 Timetable, the printing of call-up letters for prospective corps members commences today 18th May 2017.

NYSC schedules the date for printing of call up letters for 2017 Batch A PCM to commence from Tuesday, 23rd May to Monday, 12th June, 2017 nationwide.

The NYSC Management has updated the NYSC Mobilization timetable for 2017/2018 Batch A prospective corps members.

The NYSC Management has announced that details of part-time graduates have been uploaded by institutions on the NYSC Portal.

NYSC releases circular for 2016 Batch A stream 2 winding-up/Passing-out

The NYSC Management has released a circular detailing the winding-up and passing-out program for 2016 Batch A Stream 2 NYSC Members. The circular details as follows:

Management of NYSC approved that the 2016 Batch 'A' Winding-up/Passing-Out should be low-key. Note that Corps Members of 2016 Batch 'A' Stream 2 will pass out on Friday 4th May, 2017.

Prospective Corps Members who have met the requirement for NYSC registration and have been enlisted on the Senate List should log in to the NYSC Portal and register for mobilization for 2017/2018 Batch A service year.
