NYSC, JAMB creates a bilateral committee on admissions regularization

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and the Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) have agreed to create a bilateral committee to address issue of abuse of regularization of admissions by Corps Producing Institutions (CPI).

Vanguard NGR reported that the need for the committee is followed a complaint by the NYSC management to JAMB alleging irregularities in the process, thereby making mobilization of prospective corps members difficult for it.

PAIGAS to mentor Youths on National Pride

The Pan African Institute for Global Affairs and Strategy (PAIGAS) is organizing a mentorship programme to strengthen the belief of Nigerian youths in themselves and the country.

President of the Institute, Ambassador Martins Uhomoibhi, gave this hint during a visit to the NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Sulaiman Kazaure.

The National Youth Service Corps(NYSC) has extended the deployment of biometric technology for clearance of Corps members to the South East of the country.

This is coming after a successful pilot testing in the FCT and Lagos State in 2015 as well as the take-off of similar project in the North West during the last quarter of 2016.
